Workshops
At Journeymen, we offer dynamic and immersive workshops for both youth and school staff, each designed to build connection, emotional intelligence, and community. Whether in the classroom or in nature, our workshops help participants explore who they are (identity), how they relate to others (relationship), and how to inspire others authentically (leadership).

Guiding Growth—For Youth, For Staff, For Communities
Real conversations. Real connection. A new way to be a young man.

Youth Workshops
Our youth workshops are in-school
experiences designed to help boys step into
their full potential with courage and
self-awareness.

Through interactive games, group challenges, and guided dialogue, participants explore topics like identity, emotions, healthy masculinity, relationships, and mental health, all within a safe and supportive environment.
Each session is grounded in the rites of passage framework and led by trained mentors who model authenticity, emotional honesty, and respectful leadership.

Participants walk away with:
-
A stronger sense of self and purpose
-
Tools for navigating big emotions and conflict
-
More meaningful connections with peers
-
A deeper understanding of what it means to be a man today

These aren’t lectures. They’re transformational experiences that meet boys where they are with honesty, play, and grounded presence.
Creating school cultures of connection and care.

Staff Workshops
Our staff development workshops offer educators,
counselors, and school leaders practical tools for fostering
belonging, emotional capacity, and relational well-being in
their classrooms and campuses.

Workshops explore topics such as:

-
Facilitating effective and inclusive circles
-
Experiential learning and games facilitation
-
Supporting boys through a trauma-informed lens
-
Strength-based approaches to behavior and leadership
-
Creating a sense of belonging for the entire community: students, staff, and beyond

Educators leave with renewed confidence, hands-on strategies, and a deeper understanding of the social-emotional dynamics shaping boys today.

As one teacher put it, “Journeymen helped us create space where students feel seen, valued, and safe to be themselves. It changed the way I show up in my classroom.”
