Boys Council
For Boys Ages 12+
Mentorship Group for Aspiring Young Men
Boys Council is a safe, supportive, and empowering space where boys can share stories, build friendships, and grow together in the presence of solid mentors and skilled facilitators. Combining games, movement, reflection, and the timeless wisdom of talking circles, Boys Council is a transformative experience that guides aspiring young men on their path to purpose.
In Boys Council, we gather to:

-
Explore the meaning and practice of the I-CARE values (Integrity, Curiosity, Accountability, Resilience, Empathy).
-
Strengthen their sense of belonging through peer and mentor connections.
-
Build social-emotional tools such as self-awareness, communication, and growth mindset.
-
Develop leadership skills, confidence and purpose to navigate the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.

Each gathering includes a shared meal, reinforcing the sense of community and belonging. Our program is offered on a sliding scale, with scholarships available, so that every boy has the opportunity to participate.

At Journeymen, we believe boys thrive when they are given a place to be real, to be supported, and to be part of something bigger than themselves. Boy’s Council offers exactly that—an affirming community where your son can grow into his best self.
